Surprise!

My amazing parents flew me home for a week so I could see Jana and Joe's new baby Noah. We were able to pull it off as a surprise and when Jana looked down from her apartment window to see me there, along with Emma and my mom, her face was priceless. I love my sister so much and I hope that someday we will be neighbors! Noah is perfect and Lily is as darling as ever. I love being an aunt.

 It was great to be home and spend time with my parents and Emma. I love my family so much. My mom gave me some sewing lessons while I was home and she helped me make some new decorative pillows for our bed. Unfortunately it took me 23 years to realize that sewing is a wonderful talent to have!

I have been wanting to change up our boring bedroom for awhile now and so along with the pillows my mom taught me how to make, Chance and I have started making a tufted headboard. I was inspired by my good friend Marie and hopefully it will turn out as cute as hers!

24 weeks

Wow, I can't believe I am six months pregnant. I never thought I would be one to take pictures of myself, but because no one in my family is close enough to see me in person I decided to go for it.

People in Austin love pregnant women. Maybe every city loves them, but I can't go anywhere without someone telling me how excited they are for me or how beautiful I look. Going grocery shopping has become a major confidence booster!

Noah Michael Eliason

Jana and Joe had their second baby this weekend and I already love him so much. He was born 5 1/2 weeks early because he wasn't growing as the doctor's would like and although he is small, he is healthy and already progressing. I have been praying for this little guy for a long time and I am so grateful that he has arrived safely. I love my sister and brother-in-law so much, they are such a great example to me of strength and optimism. Hopefully I will be able to see them all soon!

one cool dude

We are having a baby boy! The ultrasound yesterday was amazing. I loved seeing our baby and I already feel a deep love for him. The ultrasound tech took several pictures for us, but this is one of my favorites. 

Our little guy is just hanging out and relaxing in my uterus like this is no big deal. Every time the tech moved the ultrasound head he was in a different position which explains all of the movement I have been feeling! Anyway, we just think he is the cutest thing, translucent skin and all.

kicks

Our baby is a kicker. I started feeling the baby a few weeks ago and it has been so fun to feel them all day. I was able to share the cool feeling with Chance a few nights ago because the baby was really moving! We also hit the halfway mark last week, which feels like some sort of accomplishment for some reason haha. Anyway we have THE ultrasound this Wednesday and we are excited to find out the gender and we hope that everything is healthy with the baby. We are excited for this week of love!!

sugar cookies

My mom and dad gave us the cutest Texas cookie cutters for Christmas this year. I still can't believe my mom found them in Lodi. Anyway, we decided to try them out last Sunday and they turned out cute and delicious! Thanks Mom and Dad!
